On day one, there was a large parcel of land and a husband and wife ready to create a lifestyle with their 2 children. The original loader still sits on display at the Brendale quarry reminding us of the inception of this company.
Creation of Neilsen’s Group
1993
Opening of the first Brendale plant
1997
Expansion to Beaudesert & Carole Park
1997 was a big growth year with our 2nd quarry at Beaudesert coming online and the opening of our 2nd concrete plant at Carole Park allowing us to further our reach into Brisbane South.
1999
Launch of Neilsen’s Technical Services Lab
In 1999 we established NEILSEN’S TECHNICAL SERVICES to operate an independently owned NATA approved (National Association of Testing Authorities) Laboratory at our Carole Park site for all areas of aggregate and concrete testing.
2004
Windsor plant begins supplying inner city
In 2004 Windsor Concrete Plant started supplying the inner city and surrounding suburbs.
2008
Opening of Bromelton quarry
In 2008 we opened our 3rd Quarry in Bromelton to help with increasing demand for our concrete and to supply quarry materials in the Beaudesert region.
2011
Stapylton concrete plant opens
In 2011 we saw another concrete plant at Stapylton come online.
2017
Beaudesert plant opens
In 2017 with increasing demand for concrete supply near our southside quarry we built our 5th concrete plant on our Beaudesert quarry site.
In our fiftieth year we will open our 6th concrete plant and 4th quarry, spanning broader southeast Queensland.
When you add fly ash and cement supply and a large fleet of vehicles transporting our products, we are supplying the services usually expected of a large national company with the attention you only receive from a principal owned and managed business.
